Comunity Awards R-U 2008

Mountwood Fitzgerald CDP Music Programme was very proud to win second place in the Arts category of the Community Awards on the 27th of November. The display was designed and organised by Mebdh Boyle a youth worker in the centre and decorated by the youth group. The presentation was received by Ruby Delaney, Tara Delaney and Sarah Kells from the Cathaoirleach Tom Joyce in the Rathdown County Council Concourse. The Music programme is run in the centre by Gerry Fehily and Hugh O'Connor. 

The AIB Better Ireland Winners

Dalkey AIB Better Ireland Program Mountwood Fitzgerald C.D.P Winner's On 25th July 2008 Mountwood Fitzgerald CDP won first prize in the AIB Better Ireland Competition. A cheque for €10,000 was presented to Jennifer McMahon and Marian White by the Mayor of Dublin Eibhlin Byrne (FF) at an awards ceremony held in the AIB Headquarters, Ballsbridge.This was an outstanding achievement by Jennifer our fundraiser and all who participated.
